Twin Spark Ignition Systems

The Twin Spark ignition system uses two spark plugs per cylinder. This will result in a better combustion as the fuel mixture is burned more thoroughly. A Twin Spark system can be constructed in two ways:

• It can consist of two separate Wasted Spark systems
• It can use Dual Distributor system

This type of systems complicate little bit the diagnostics but generally can be divided in two and then tested as separate systems.
